This Website Provides online permit application services for the City of. Soledad Building and Planning Divisions under the Community and Economic Development Department.

For all Encroachment Permits or Public Right-of-Way Concerns, please contact the Soledad Public Works Department at (831) 223-5176. 

For Main Applicants:

Please select Sign Up, in the upper right corner of this page, and then on the next page select Create an Account. Our SmartGov Permitting Portal will verify your login email address, and then you can begin using the Soledad Smart Permitting System. 

More than one main applicant or professional on a project?

Once a permit has been submitted, please email buildingpermits@cityofsoledad.com with a building permit number for an Access Code. Once you have an access code, please select Sign Up, in the upper right corner of this page and input Access Code.
